He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Pood" and Anna Martin (Mezera); and his sister Joanne Martin. He is survived by: his wife Inga Falck; his sons, Travis (Kelly), Troy (Jessica), Trent (Melissa) and Tyson (Ashley Fortner); his sisters, Marcia Hubanks (Shane) and Kathy Oswald (Steve); and his close friend Brad Groom. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
