He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Hayes of Jesup, IA.; and his siblings, James Hayes and Rosemary Hayes Mahoney. He is survived by: his children, Michael Hayes (Elizabeth) of Whitefish Bay, Timothy Hayes (Mary) of Whitefish Bay, John Hayes of Lexington and Sara Hayes of Milwaukee; and his grandchildren, Eric, Isabelle, Lillian, Greta, Peter, Josef, Matthew and Jacob.
