Will J. Reimer Obituary
Pewaukee-Born into Eternal Life on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at age 97.
Beloved husband for 65 years of Bonnie (nee Zweifel).
Dear father of Jon Reimer, Scott Reimer, Stacy (Paul) Kartaly and Kristin (Jim) Polzin.
Loving grandfather of Alisa (Sam) Schultz, Brandon (Alison) Polzin, Kaylin and Kendall Kartaly. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Will was born on August 17, 1925 in Milwaukee to George and Elsa (nee Kohls) Reimer. He served in the US Army during WWII and later graduated from Valparaiso University in Indiana. Will worked as an Assistant Director of Data Processing for Northwestern Mutual Life for 37 years. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church for over 50 years. In his retirement, he enjoyed staying active by serving the community, painting, and researching his genealogy. His avid interest in genealogy took him on new paths as he discovered the origins of the Reimer Family in Germany which ultimately led to several reunions with extended family members from all over the United States, Canada, and Germany. Will will be missed by his family and friends and all those who knew him.
Visitation Friday, December 2, 2022 from 1:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 2:00pm at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 10025 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa.
Private interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Lake Country Lutheran High School or ProHealth AngelsGrace Hospice appreciated.
