Virginia Wheir Obituary
We bid farewell to Virginia Wheir of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 12, 2024 at the age of 82. Virginia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Wick and Eleanore Wick; her parents-in-law, Charles and Elaine Wheir; her brother Paul Wick; her sister-in-law Patricia; her sister Barb Rampolla; her nephew Dean Wick; and her niece Lisa Rampolla Wolter.
She is survived by: her husband Donald; her daughters, Michelle Canes (Jim) and Victoria Boucher (Frank); her grandchildren, Cory, Nicole Canes, Marissa, Kristen, Nicholas, Nina and Michael Boucher; her brother-in-law Jack Rampolla; and her niece Aimee Rampolla. She is also survived by other relatives, friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (12130 W Center St, Wauwatosa, WI 53222). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Ginny's name to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Association would be deeply appreciated by the family. Ginny's family acknowledges with sincere gratitude the devoted caregivers and staff at Brookdale Brookfield Alzheimer's and Memory Care on Capitol Drive as well as St. Croix Hospice.
