She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Duncan and Lloyd Duncan; her husband Thomas A. Wood (Tom); and her stepchildren, Tom Wood and Cecilia Katz.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Erdmann of Winterhaven, FL and Dawn Schmidt (Rick) of Flushing, MI.; and her grandchildren, Jason Erdmann (Keisha), Michelle Akers (Dean), Elizabeth Held (Brandon), Erik Schmidt (Pam) and Kathleen Polk (David).
Memorial contributions can be made to Samaritans Purse or Operation Blessing, two organizations she supported.
