ELM GROVE-(nee Vaillancourt) Born to Eternal Life on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Age 74. Beloved wife of the late Gregory Pires who passed away on November 3, 2008. Dear mother of Becky (Eric) Fink, Tammy (Andrew) Peterson and Shelly Pires. Loving grandmother of Benjamin Fink; Fynlee and Emerson Peterson; Zachery, Madison and Taylor Cianciolo. Dear sister of William Vaillancourt, Dean (Girolama) Vaillancourt and Sara (Robert) Hawke. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Gregory, she was preceded in death by her parents, William and Vera Vaillancourt; her brothers, Aldo and Richard Vaillancourt; and her nephew, Keith Vaillancourt.
Visitation Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 12:00 Noon until Time of Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa. Reception and Celebration of Vera's Life will immediately follow at Spitfires on State, 5018 W. State Street, Milwaukee. Private interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
Vera was born on August 19, 1948, to William and Vera Vaillancourt in St. Paul, MN. She was the Owner/Operator of the Little Café on 91st and National in West Allis for many years as well as Spitfires in Muskego. Throughout her life she was dedicated to helping others and took pride as a home care giver to those in need.
