He was predeceased by: his wife Julianne; his parents, Joseph Novotny and Rose Novotny; his parents-in-law, Louis and Rose Soener; his sisters, Joan Verfurth, Nancy Romens, Margaret Morse and Rose Voelz; and his brothers-in-law, Daryl Verfurth, Carroll Romens, Jerome Morse and Robert Voelz.
He is survived by: his children, Anne Novotny, Daniel Novotny (Jennifer), Beth Voet (Michael), Joseph Novotny (Kimberly) and Andrew Novotny (Shannon).
