He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mountin and Elizabeth Mountin; and his birth father John Ward. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his sons, Matthew (Laura), Zachary (Rachel) and Andrew Mountin (Jena); his grandchildren, Emily, Everest, Walter, Arthur, Lucy, Isobel and Simon; and his siblings, Mary Mountin, Patricia Ludwig (Dan), David Mountin (Sarah), William Mountin (Mariellen) and Anne Fellin (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to: the Jesuit Retreat House in Oshkosh, the St. Camillus Foundation, Catholic Charities Legal Services for Immigrants and Refugees, or the ALS Association of Wisconsin.
