Shirley Ann Plantico Obituary

Shirley Plantico, age 90 of Wauwatosa, passed away on January 3, 2024. She was born in Milwaukee on October 7, 1933, to the late Anton and Anna (nee Thoma) Schmidt. Loving wife of the late Victor Plantico. Dear mother of Rachel and the late Leslie Plantico. Sister-in-law to Margie Schmidt and the late James Schmidt. Dear Aunt to Renee (nee Schmidt) Pallen and Dennis Pallen, Robin (nee Schmidt) Becker and Dave Becker. Great Aunt to Nash and Sam Pallen. Shirley was truly a strong and devoted mother to her younger daughter, Leslie, taking care of her for 50 years until her death. She helped her cope with living with a degenerative neuromuscular disorder at home.

A visitation and brief service will be held for Shirley from 10 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa. Burial to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
