Ruth Ann (Wyse) Kleppek Obituary

On January 5, 2023, at the age of 85, Ruth passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease and returned home to our Lord.

Ruth is survived by loving husband Henry "Hank" of 63 years, Sons Kurt (Debbie) Kleppek, Karl (Lisa) Kleppek and Kay (Jeff Horne). Proud grandma to Summer and Marty Kleppek, and Megan and William Horne. Proceeded in death by her daughter Kristin Lee, her brother Bill Wyse (Diane), parents Charles and Olive Wyse and her Aunt Ruth Toney.

In addition to being a great mother, Ruth had a strong faith and loved music. She was a member of Redemption Lutheran Church for nearly 50 years where she was a longtime member of the church choir and handbell group. She loved gardening, was a talented quilter and was a member of the church and Menomonee Falls quilting groups.

Ruth loved nature, birdwatching and had a special fondness for animals, especially cats.

Please join her family for a visitation on Thursday, January 12th from 4 – 6pm, followed by the funeral service at 6:00 PM at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa. A reception will follow.
