Richard P. Laitsch Obituary
Richard Paul Laitsch "Dick" joined his wife, Germaine of 50 years in heaven on February 3rd, 2022, at the age of 95. Born in 1926 in Milwaukee, he lived to see some of the world's most important events – the Great Depression and World War II where he served with the U.S. Army and was stationed and saw action in the Philippines and Japan. He returned home as most of that great generation did, and started working, married and grew a family. He owned and operated Milwaukee Radiator and Auto Glass for more than 52 years. He was a lover of classic cars, North Lake and Siesta Key. But mostly, he was a good man who loved his wife and family, went to work each day, and came home for supper every night. He never missed a game or event and put endless miles on his car shuttling us around. He was surrounded by good friends his whole life, most of whom are waiting to welcome him home. Dick is survived by his brother John William Laitsch; five children: Jeff (Donna), Tom (Toni), Sue (Peter) Mihojevich, Julie (Patrick) Baudhuin and David (Jeanne Tripi); his 11 grandchildren: Taylor, Brian, Jason, Laura (fiancé Conner Shelton), Ryan, Jackie, Sam, Adam, Ben, Olivia, and Connor (fiancé Karley Haar). Thank you to the compassionate staff of AseraCare Hospice and Congregational Home for helping us care for our dad.
