He was predeceased by: his parents, Delwin Charles and Harriet Godfrey Jacobus; and his brothers, Charles D. Jacobus and John T. Jacobus. He is survived by: his sister Susanna Souder; his children, Nancy Bach (Peter), Barbara Wells (Merrick), Kathy Sue Jacobus, Rick Jacobus, Marcy Coker (Tom) and Susanna Jacobus; his grandchildren, Chris (Stephanie), Nick, Caroline, Natalie, Merrick, Noah, Sarah (Sean), Jack, Oliver, Carolyn, Caleb (Aislinn), Thomas (Merrill), Richard, Susanna and Lucy; his great grandchildren, William and Sophia; and his wife Carolyn Royer (Royer). He is also survived by relatives and special friends.
