Peter R. Michelson Obituary

Wauwatosa, WI – Passed away on Sunday February 25th, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Susanne (nee Diemer) for 47 years. Loving father of Aaron Michelson and Elisabeth (Michael) Cammack. Cherished Grandfather of Colton Cammack. Dear brother of Ronald (Mary) Michelson and brother in-law of Joel Diemer, Mark Diemer and Tim (Marilyn) Diemer. Further survived by other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Harriet Michelson and Sister in-Law Martha Michelson and Geraldine Diemer.

Peter grew up in Wauwatosa with his brother. Peter graduated college from UW-Madison with a bachelor's degree and continued on to earn his Masters of Business Administration at Marquette University. He worked in the banking industry for his whole career.

Peter loved the outdoors and going camping with his family. He was a big fan of the Wisconsin sports teams (Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Badgers) and enjoyed going to sporting events when he ever had the chance. Most recently he enjoyed going for long walks in the neighborhood and feeding the birds.

Peter was deeply loved and cherished spending time with family. He will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be on March 14th, 2024 at 10am until time of memorial service at 11am at Mount Carmel Lutheran Church 8424 W Center St. Milwaukee, WI. Burial with close family will take place immediately following service. A Luncheon will be provided for family and friends following burial at Mount Carmel Lutheran Church.
