Peter Ho Obituary

Peter Ho, age 52, of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin passed away March 3, 2025. He was born September 17, 1972 in New York City to See Ho, and Hing-wan Hui.

Peter brightened the lives of those around him with his quick wit. He grew up speaking only Cantonese, and learned English when starting kindergarten, where he impressed teachers enough to earn a full ride scholarship to Trinity School in New York. He attended the University of Rochester, NY before leaving school and going on to pursue a career in software engineering. Highly self-motivated, Peter taught himself to program to support his children, who he raised alongside his then-wife Heather Ho, to whom he was married for 28 years.

He was admired for being a fantastic cook and an avid consumer of literature. He was an astute critic of books, movies, and television, who could be trusted to have a knowledgeable opinion on a wide range of subjects. He was incredibly thoughtful in all aspects of life, whether it came to helping others, dispensing sage advice, or giving the perfect gift.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his three children Annalise, Max, and Aiden.

The celebration of life for Peter will take place Saturday, March 15 at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home in Wauwatosa with visitation beginning at 10 am and the service to start at 11am.
