Patricia Ann Pajunen Obituary
Patricia "Pat" Pajunen was born to eternal life on June 3, 2024 at the age of 91. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents, Helen and Andrew Geiger, Sr.; her siblings Dorothy (Robert) Garfield, Ruth (Gerald) Bergmann, Andrew Geiger, Jr., and Ronald Geiger, who died in infancy; her nephews, Robert Jr., Douglas "Winston", and Jeffrey Garfield. Pat is survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara; her nieces and nephews, Rod (Lori), Pam, Laurel, Jill (Dan), Christine, Andrea (Vito), Amy (Pram), and Tony; great-nieces and nephews, Kerri, Traci, Jeff, Matt, Natale, Steven, Hayley, Brian, Chelsea, Christopher, Vito Jr., Marco, Clare, Andrew. Pat attended St. Anne Catholic School for 1st through 8th grade, St. Catherine Catholic School for 9th grade, and graduated from Messmer High School. After furthering her education in general business and insurance, Pat spent 26 years working in the insurance field and retired from Milwaukee Insurance Company in 1995. Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her young nieces and nephews who loved that Aunt Pat was always open to whatever silly game or activity in which they asked her to participate. An avid sports fan, Pat especially loved watching the Brewers, Packers, and Bucks and enjoyed cheering loudly for them (which her neighbors can attest to!). Pat was a long-time resident of Wauwatosa and enjoyed being a member of the Southwest Wauwatosa Woman's Club. She was also active in the St. Vincent De Paul Society at her parish. She enjoyed helping others and said it helped her appreciate all the gifts she had been given. Pat spent her golden years at Library Square where she made many dear friends and enjoyed all of the organized social activities. Thank you to Margaret and the entire Library Square staff for their kind and thoughtful care of Pat. A special thank you to Elise, who cared for Pat in her final days. Pat will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her. She will always be remembered with a smile at her thoughtful cards/greetings, long and detailed voice messages, and her knack for emphasizing important speaking points with her index finger!
