WAUWATOSA-Was called Home by her Savior on Friday, December 27, 2024. Age 71. Beloved wife for 40 years of Clarence. Dear mother of Chris (Rachel) Eckel. Loving grandmother of Sadie and Ian. Dear sister of Thomas (the late Joyce) Bornheimer. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Beverly Bornheimer and her sister, Kathy Bornheimer.
Visitation Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10:00am until Time of Service at 11:00am at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa. Interment Wauwatosa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Specialty Purebread Cat Rescue (https://purebredcatrescue.org.) are appreciated.
Patricia (Pat) was born in Ladysmith, WI and moved with family to southeastern WI following her father's passing at a young age. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, obtaining her bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. She resided in Wauwatosa after marrying her husband, Clarence, and worked for various healthcare organizations in the greater Milwaukee area. She retired after spending over 40 years in healthcare and took pride in using her role to save lives. She was a proud mother to Chris and even prouder grandmother to Sadie and Ian. Pat was an avid animal lover and always had a dog, cat (s) and/or birds in the house. She supported cat rescues and was passionate about helping animals in need.
