Lois was an incredible wife, mother, friend, sister and volunteer. She lived her life with faith, gratitude and love, making the most out of every situation. Lois was always willing to give of herself and lend a hand. She participated and lead in many types of organizations: St. Mary's of Elm Grove prayer and ministry groups, The Christ Child Society –Milwaukee Chapter, Elm Grove Women's Club, Co-founder of The Lois Club of Milwaukee, Girl Scout leader, Curling Clubs, and Pot Luck Supper Groups. It was also understood that mom never missed an opportunity to play Bridge, Bingo or go to a luncheon with friends. It is a great testament to her nature that she formed so many long lasting friendships over the years.

“Lois was a very dear friend of my father Richard Rech. I was in town and tried to visit her today at San Camillus. They would not tell me if she was still there so I looked up her obituary and was very sorry to see that she had passed. She was also very kind to me as she and I sat vigil when my father was dying. I am sorry I missed you Lois!!! My condolences to the family.”
