It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Marie Tanin of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Laura find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She is survived by: her parents, Richard Tanin and Mary Tanin; her siblings, Lisa Tanin (Gregory Lauck) and Marlena DeBauche (John); her niece Hazel; her nephews, Benjamin and Nathaniel; and her fiancé Scott Donnerbauer.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home (14075 W North Ave, Brookfield, WI 53005). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Milwaukee County Zoo, an organization that was close to Laura's heart.
