Kathleen Margaret Egan Obituary
It is with a profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Kathy, who left us on 5/25/2024 at the age of 67, surrounded by her loving family in her final moments. Always loved, she will be forever missed by her children, Erin Curran and Michael Brozynski, her cherished grandchildren, Riley, Macie, Holden and Callen Curran, by her siblings, Bonnie (Ed) McMahon, Patrick (Julie), Michael (Jane), Dennis (Sandy) Egan, Christine (Bill) Dess and Teri (the late Tom) Slattery, her uncle and godfather Ted (Judy) Egan, Uncle Duke Brandenburg along with many other relatives and friends. Kathy was the precious daughter of Michael and Patricia Egan.
She grew up in West Allis and graduated in the 1975 class of Nathan Hale High School. Kathy had been a long-time employee of GE HealthCare. Dimpled with a spray of Irish Kisses across her upturned little nose, a true Irish Beauty. We were never sure how her tiny legs held up her petite body, but despite her tiny stature, she had the biggest heart. No one cared or loved more deeply than Kathy, and we will never forget the love she brought to our lives. Some days were fraught with challenges, sadness, and regrets, but she could always find her way back from the hard times with love and laughter. She showed us a determination to keep going.
Please join us in celebrating Kathy on Tuesday, June 11th with a visitation from 3-6, followed by a prayer service at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa. There will be pictures, memories, and stories, some you've never heard, some you could never hear enough of. There will be sorrow, there will be celebration but most of all there will be love. The kind that never ends.
