Joanelle Johnson Phillips Obituary

Joanelle Phillips went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 17th, 2025 at the age of 91. Preceded in death by her brothers Terry Johnson, Dwight Johnson and sister Patricia (Michael) Yonan. She is survived by siblings Sharon Schuman and Ross Johnson. She joined her daughter, Tiffany, in heaven. Beloved mother of Laurie Michelle Webb and Melissa (David) Fockel. Proud grandmother of Nicole (Andy) Rowland, Kristina Webb, Ella Fockel, Devin Fockel and Aaron Fockel. Loving great grandmother to Elijah James Rowland and Jordan Rowland.

Joanelle Loved the Lord and used her gift of singing to worship Jesus in the Eastbrook Church Choir for many years. She demonstrated God's love through her devotion to her children and grandchildren. Joanelle was creative and artistic, expressing her gifts through sculpture, painting, stained glass, carving and drawing. She created many special family traditions including personalized Christmas stockings, decorating gingerbread houses, special birthday cakes and parties and throwing rocks in the river with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 25th, 2025 at 11:30, with service to follow at 12:30 PM at Meadowbrook Church, 1025 N. 70th St, Wauwatosa Wisconsin 53213. Burial to follow at 2:15PM at Zur Ruhe Cemetery, N69W60001 Bridge Road, Cedarburg, WI 53012.
