She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Thomas and Catherine Thomas; her husband Jim Bowers; and her children, Jim Bowers (Cecilia), Beth Bowers, Terry Garrett, John Bowers (Monica), Cathy Miles (David) and Dan Bowers (Carrie). She was also cherished by sister to her 5 siblings.
