He is survived by: his wife Karla; his parents, William Eckes (Bill) and Lori Ely (Jon); his siblings, Matthew (Cassie), Will, Talon, Dustin, Austin (Allie), Amber (Raymond), Apryl (Robert) and Amanda (Jamey); his aunts and uncles, Sharon, Shirley (Eric), Mary (Bob) and Richard (Abby); and his cousins, Jared (Megan), Justin (Surae), Gabrielle (Casey), Kim (George) and Chris (Steve).

Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (12130 W Center St, Wauwatosa, WI 53222). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
