She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Cherry and Oscar Cherry; her husband Philip Nelson; her siblings, Ruth and Roy; and her granddaughter Kara.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Dinkelman (Jack), Cheryl Tengren (Steve) and Linda (Andy Lifson); her grandchildren, Dan Dinkelman, Rya, John Tengren, Anna Lifson and Holly Nelson-Lifson; and her great grandchildren, Destiny, Devin, Britney, Jayda, Nyko, Tianna and Tegan. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
