Jean Ann Levenhagen Obituary
Jean Ann Levenhagen, born Zillmer, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at 94 years old.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ted; parents, Helen and Raymond Zillmer and brother, John. Jean's father, Raymond Zillmer was the founder of the Ice Age Trail and Foundation.
Jean graduated from Wauwatosa High School, attended Beloit College where she pledged Pi Beta Phi Sorority and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After college, she became a travel agent. She met her husband, Ted when he worked for Miller Brewing Company International Sales. They were married for 61 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Lori (Mike) Reidy, Lynn (Tom) Kerwin and her son, Bill (Lori) Levenhagen. She is survived by her granddaughters, Meghan Reidy (Matt Spannknebel), Sarah (Brian) Kasica, Rachel (Wade) Thelan, Paige Levenhagen and her grandsons, Bill Levenhagen and Alec Kerwin. Great grandchildren, London and Eloise Spannknebel, Graham Kasica and Liam Thelan. Jean is further survived by her sisters-in-law, Rita Levenhagen of West Allis, WI, Mary Gelden of Casper, WY and Jill Levenhagen of Brookfield, WI as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was a lifetime member of the 20th Century Topic Club of Wauwatosa, Woman's Club of Wisconsin, Pi Beta Phi Sorority Alumni and a former member of the Wauwatosa Curling Club.
Memorials appreciated in lieu of flowers to Christ King Parish, Milwaukee Rescue Mission, Wisconsin Humane Society or Ice Age Trail and Foundation.

Visitation and Service on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Visitation from 10:00am until 10:45am with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at Christ King Catholic Church, 2604 Swan Blvd., Wauwatosa. Interment St. Mary's Visitation Cemetery, Elm Grove.
