Eli Garrett Suson Obituary
Eli Garrett Suson was born on June 27th, 2023 to parents Matthew Marvin Suson and Taylor Marie Suson. Eli was born with an aneurism in the left ventricle of his heart, a condition that was tracked closely for the last few months of the pregnancy. The condition was severe enough that it was sure to require a heart transplant. He had numerous complications throughout his time in the hospital, including an E. Coli infection, a failed surgery, and blood clots in several areas of his body. Eli fought hard but on August 7th, succumbed to those complications causing multiple organs to fail. Despite his short time on earth, many of his personality traits revealed themselves. For instance, he was quite sassy. Whenever the nurses did something that he did not like, such as cleaning out his breathing tube or rotating his head, he was always sure to let them know by holding his breath in order to give us all a scare. He also really loved bright colours, if any of us wore a colourful shirt, he would open his eyes very wide and follow us around if we moved. He greatly enjoyed being read to and being sung to. His favourite books were Snuggle Puppy, The Kissing Hand, The Rainbow Fish, and Nana Loves you More. His favourite songs were Waymaker, If I had Words, and You are my Sunshine. We were even able to discover that he loved ice cream, specifically the Zoreo flavour from Joy Ice Cream in Wauwatosa, although based on his reactions in the womb, this was not too much of a surprise. Eli is remembered fondly by both of his parents, his four grandparents, and many other family members. He now rests in the arms of our heavenly father where he is loved and comforted in a way that he could never experience on earth. His Lolo Elliser and Lola Ufrocina are watching him until his parents can hold him again. Fair winds, and following seas to a sweet, brave, adorable boy. We love you.
