Dorothy Jane Beck Obituary

Dorothy Jane Beck was born on May 3, 1938 and passed away on February 27, 2023.

She was the loving mother of Robert Beck and Thomas (Kelli) Beck and the grandmother of Bradley and Allison Beck. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Goetz, and her brother, Rodney Caldwell, nephew Gregory (Julie) Goetz and niece Anne (John) Leroux and their children. Her special friend for many years was Robert Woodbury. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Cherrill Flitz and her children and grandchildren.

Dorothy graduated as the valedictorian of her class at De Forest High School in 1956 and graduated with Honors from the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy in 1960. She enjoyed having great friends, travel, photography, taking walks, biking, reading, singing, and leading a Poetry Discussion group at the Wauwatosa Senior Center. She was a member of the Elm Grove Women's Club and sang in their chorus and the Brookfield Civic Chorus.

Dorothy will be remembered for her integrity, wisdom and sense of humor.

Visitation at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1717 Church Street, Wauwatosa WI on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:00am. Funeral at 12:00pm followed by hospitality.

Burial will take place at a future date in the Arlington, WI Cemetery with her family present.
