It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Helen Kara (Wauwatosa, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George and Elizabeth; her husband Charles Kara; her brothers, George and Raymond Wituschek; and her sister-in-law Nancy.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey (Catherine) and Susan Furukawa; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Jarecki (Steven), Robert, Kenzo Furukawa (Julia) and Elli Furukawa; and her great grandchildren, Aksel and Maddox Jarecki. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
