He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; his son Michael; and his daughter-in-law Natalie. He is survived by: his children, Matthew, Rebecca Kassulke (Peter), Rachel Carver (Richard), Mark (Susan), Nathan (Heidi), Joel (Sandra) and Aaron (Ann); and his sister Shirley Ebelt. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Lutheran High School Library Fund appreciated.
