He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Stanek (Drewitz); and his brother George Stanek (Audrey). He is survived by: his children, Dr. Scott Stanek (Mimi) and Sally Follett (Mark); his grandchildren, Jenny Wenzel (Zac), Dr. Peter Stanek (Erin), Katie Stanek, Brett Follett (Emily) and Patrick Stanek (Katie); his great grandchildren, Emme, Abby, Kathryn, Samantha, Gemma, Henry, Camila, Riley and Lucie; his brother Jim; and his sister-in-law Lois.
