Bridget E. Minster Obituary
Bridget Eileen Minster, age 57, died on November 26, 2022. Born Bridget Eileen Bigley, July 23, 1965.
Proceeded in death by her parents, Thomas and Shirley Bigley, and siblings Timothy Bigley and Michael Bigley. She is survived by her favorite husband, Patrick; her favorite children, Nora (Daniel) McElwee, Meagan (Maddie) Minster, Sean (girlfriend Zoe Padrick) Minster, Molly (Matthew) Kulcyk, and Rosie (Jack Pankratz) Minster; favorite grandchildren Eila, Lucy, and Flora McElwee, Autumn Kulcyk, and three foster loves; siblings, nieces and nephews; many dogs, cats, spiders, birds, possums, raccoons (shout out to Mama Stubbs), and foster kittens galore.
An animal lover since birth, Bridget enjoyed bird watching, fostering kittens and the occasional puppy through MADACC, and rescuing injured wildlife. She loved nature, hiking, and going on adventures with the Adventure Girls. She is known around the neighborhood for her chalkboard sign and painted rocks. She was proud of her Irish heritage. She was a strong supporter of the LGBTQ community, Black Lives Matter movement, and in the words of a couple good friends: opened peoples' eyes and helped them understand views that may be different than their own. You haven't felt love until you've been loved by Bridge.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10th from 10:00-1:00 at Schmidt and Bartelt in Menomonee Falls followed by a Celebration of Life at Celtic MKE (1532 N. Wauwatosa Avenue, Wauwatosa, WI 53213) from 2:00-6:00 with a toast at 4:00pm. We look forward to seeing all of her Favorites.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to MADACC (madacc.org) or your local library in her honor.
