He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily and Frederick; and his wife Grace. He is survived by: his siblings, Cele, Fred and Harvey; his child Good Counsel; his grandson Much of Art's; and his children, Stephanie and Adam.

He couldn't walk at Mayfair because of the pandemic, so he took up walking around the neighborhood, where he made many new friends.
