Ann Theresa Pendergast Christman Obituary

Ann Theresa Pendergast Christman passed away on June 1, 2024, at age 71.

Ann was intelligent, witty, resilient and above all, kind. Though her health was never strong, her spirit always was. With degrees in both computer science and library science, her working life was dedicated to helping others access information. She never stopped learning. From woodworking to basket weaving, she tried every craft under the sun, but she was most proud of the clothes she sewed for herself and the quilts she sewed for family. Everything she created was beautiful. Any imperfections she may have seen were invisible to the rest of us.

Annie will live on in the memories of her siblings John (Jill), Mary (David), Jane (Mark), Jim (Kim), Mike (Paulette), Tom and Pat (Julie), and countless cousins, nieces and nephews for being our family's heart and historian. She will be remembered by her lifelong friends Liz, Anne, Kathy and the SOWs for her humor and joy. She will forever be loved by her husband Mark and daughters Erin and Caitlin (Patrick), and will make a wonderful guardian angel to her grandson Archer. She has left behind a hole in all of our lives, but left it filled with love.

Celebration of life to be held Saturday, June 15 from 1-3 pm at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue in Wauwatosa. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask those who can to make a donation in Ann's name to the Vasculitis Foundation, http://www.vasculitisfoundation.org..
