He is survived by: his children, Randy Schimelpfenig and Julie Haeni (Fond); his grandchildren, Brittany Haeni (Dan), Nick Malcolm (Kaitlyn) and Sam Malcolm (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Koleton and Oakleigh; and his siblings, Marlene Mirr, Susan Loeffler, Donna Schimelpfenig and Steven Schimelpfenig. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
