He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Coon and Lily Coon (Nelson); and his siblings, Clifford, Lyle and Hazel Garnett.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Coon; his children, Paula D. Eckert (Mike), Swans Hill, Alberta, Barbara S. Coon, Daniel Coon (Amber) and Clifford Coon; his stepchildren, Carmen L. Shea (Robert), Jennifer D. Barnes (Shane) and Justin A. Dorshorst (Jessica); and his sisters-in-law, Joann Coon and Myrna L. Boswell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
