He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. and Dena; his wife Joyce A. Vriezen; and his siblings, Dena, Bert (Ann), John Jr. (Henrietta) and Eda.
He is survived by: his sister Elfrieda "Fritz" Vriezen of Delavan; his children, Jim Vriezen (Karla) of Janesville, David Vriezen (LuAnn) of Waterloo and Jeanne St (Andy); his grandchildren, Megan Nelson (Jon), Eric St (Molly), Bobby Vriezen (Lauren) and Michael Vriezen; his great grandchildren, Drew, Isaac, Samuel, Blake, Reese and Theodore; his stepgrandchildren, Michael Ebert (Rosa), Jodi Doyle (Liam), Jamie Minnema (Tim) and Angela Ebert; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sienna, Kelan, Lelaina, Andrew, Samantha, Avaya and Makenna.
