Loretta S. Piehl Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta S. Piehl of Wautoma, Wisconsin, born in Cylinder, Iowa, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sr. Barkve and Selma Barkve (Jacobson); her siblings, Marguerite Berkland (Ervin), Irene Strand (Lloyd) and Harry Barkve Jr. (Sonny); and her nieces and nephews, Janelle Berkland Shain, Barb Berkland, Scott Barkve, Rich Berkland and Larry Berkland.
She is survived by: her family, Masahiro Yanagida of Japan, Jaakko Larma of Finland, Hans Ramel of Sweden and Rodrigo Pineda of Chile; her husband Ray Piehl; her children, Dave (Pete Quinnan) and Sue Bauer (John); her grandchildren, Hannah Blija, Anja Blija and Grace Bauer; and her sister-in-law Gloria Barkve (Harry Jr.). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
