He was predeceased by: his parents, James Armstrong and Mary Armstrong (Klawon); and his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Louise Larson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Larson; and his siblings, Ronald Armstrong (Gerry), Jack Armstrong (Gail), Rosemary Armstrong, Steven Armstrong (Diana), Patty Allen (Vance) and Robert Armstrong. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children; other relatives and friends.
