She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pozarycki and Helen Pozarycki; her husband Harold "Teenie" Van Schaack; her son William Van Schaack; and her siblings, Jean Zielinski, Helcia Petaroi and Vincent Pozarycki.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Hackett (James) and Bruce Van Schaack (Robert Nelson); her daughter-in-law Janet Van Schaack; her grandchildren, Deborah Kenny (Gregg), James Hackett (Kim) and Willam Van Schaack Jr. (Amie); and her siblings, Robert Pozarycki and Theresa Dubin. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
