He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Holmes and Isabel Holmes; and his siblings, Harvie, Frank, Minnie Jeanette and Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Holmes; his sons, Brian (Jeff Walker) and Alan (Janice Levine); his granddaughter Shannon (Steve Harris); and his great grandchild Sawyer Harris. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces, great grand nephews and many lifelong friends.
