He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Simonson and Charlotte Simonson (Ellickson); his son Donald Simonson; his sister Vivadell Olsen (Clifford); and his siblings-in-law, Arvilla Thompson (Milton) and Milo Gunderson (Janice).
He is survived by: his wife Doris Simonson; his sons, Dale (Deborah), Glen and Clyde (Barbara); his grandchildren, Aaron (Courtney), Lucas (Krista), Jarrett (Abigail) and Marrissa (Riley); his great grandchildren, Zachary, Skyler, Bryce and Brooklyn; and his brother John Simonson (Jubie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to the Waushara County Historical Society in Charles' name.
