He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul L. Nicholson and Carmellia E. Nicholson (Smith); his sisters, Kim and Debbie; and his great-nephew Michael (Mane Mane).

He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Nicholson (Trish), Wausaukee, Donny Nicholson, Dennis Nicholson of Indiana, Cassandra Nicholson-Werner (Rodney), Crivitz (Kristina Nicholson) and Oconto (Jolene Nicholson "Babygirl"); his partner Stacy Morgan; his partner's children, Brenda, Alyssa and Cody; his uncle Dan Grosso; and also Jaden.
