He was predeceased by: his wife Nola; and his siblings, George, Gertrude, Elizabeth and Cecilia.

He is survived by: his children, Bill (Patricia), Cher and Sarah; his grandchildren, Will Lonsdorf (Nicole) and Angela Wester (Aaron); and his great grandchildren, Haidyn, Logan, Rylen and Kashden. He is also survived by other relatives, many friends.
