She was predeceased by: her parents, Kasper Knab and Leah Knab; and her sisters, Debra and Janice. She is survived by: her husband Bernard "Bernie" Gauerke of Weston; her children, Mark Gauerke (Bonnie) of Weston, Kristine Grigas (John) of Madison and Todd Gauerke (Lisa) of Marshfield; her brothers, Kasper Knab, Jr. (Becky) of Athens, Michael Knab (Patti) of Merrill and Steven Knab (Corinne) of Manitowoc; and her grandchildren, Rebekah, Andrew, Rachel, Raymond, Katelyn, Leah and Daniel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church (6205 Alderson St, Weston, WI 54476). A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In the end, she succumbed to symptoms related to advanced Parkinson's Disease.
