With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Violet Schuttenberg formerly of Wausau, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Violet left this world on March 21, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Violet may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard "Barney" Schuttenberg and Mary Schuttenberg (Trzebiatowski); her sister June Tomlanovich; and her brothers-in-law, Dale Pophal, Rudy Tomlanovich and Jerry Cherek.
She is survived by: her siblings, Diane Cherek, Dolores Pophal and Ervin Schuttenberg (Ruthie).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brainard Funeral Home (5712 Memorial Ct, Weston, WI 54476).
To honor her memory, they kindly request donations to either Mount View Care Center, whose efforts brought joy and meaningful experiences to Violet's life, or to St. Agnes Parish in Schofield.
