We bid farewell to Robert Schalow of Wausau, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Schalow and Katherine Knoblock; his stepfather William Knoblock; his son Clark Schalow; his parents-in-law, Alfred Wendt and Helen Wendt; his siblings-in-law, Lyle Wendt and Phyllis Venner; and his nephew Kenneth Wendt.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Schalow (Wendt) of Wausau; his son Dean Schalow (Maria); his grandchildren, Jaysy Schalow, Dakota Schalow, Skyler Gilkenson (Austin), Hunter Schalow (Elizabeth), Jordyn Schalow (Ashley), Bryana Schalow, Hayley Schalow Brandyn Schalow and Alyson Petersen (Robert); and his great grandchildren, William Schalow, Isabella Schalow, Owen Schalow, Violet Schalow, Marina Robinson, Mariyana Robinson, Ariya Schalow, Kyrie Schalow, Khamari Schalow, Alexis Rogers, Eliza Rogers, Connor Hancock and Murphy Hancock.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Helke Funeral Home (302 Spruce St, Wausau, WI 54401).
