Robert Ruether Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Ruether (Wausau, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 5, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ruether and Ellen Ruether (Bergstrand); and his siblings, Joan Wilde (Jim) and Tom Ruether. He is survived by: his wife Lois Sommerfeldt of Savior's Lutheran Church; his children, Laurie Hitts (Paul), Tammy Beilke (Rich) and Brian Ruether (Wendy Schneider); and his siblings, Bonnie Elford (Sid), Jim Ruether (Carol) and Penny Ruether. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
