Robert Rakow Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2025, at the age of 86, Robert Rakow (Wausau, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Rakow and Corra Rakow (Trantow); and his wife Jan. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin and Jim; his daughter-in-law Holly; his grandchildren, Adam and Ally Rakow; and his sister June Urbanek. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
