He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Syring and Harriett Syring (Wolf); his brother Jason; and his nephew Adam Chen. He is survived by: his siblings, Bob (Marilyn) and Susan Chen (David); his niece Mary Leitzke; his nephew Andrew Chenohara; and his great-nephews, Noah, Nathan, Carter, Hunter and Emil. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
