With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lydia I. Rachu of Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 107. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Werner and Amanda Werner (Paul); her husband Edwin Rachu; her daughter-in-law Beverly Rachu (Robert); and her grandson Sheldon Champagne.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Steve Champagne (Nancy) of Howe, Coby Champagne (Traci) of Rothschild, Kevin Lipinski of Athens, Kelly Westfall (Corey) of Athens, Kory Nowacki (Ron) of Athens, Kasy Lipinski (Cori) of Edgar, Carrie Kolbeck (Dean) of Wausau, Brandy Johnston (Mathew) of Austin and Eric Rachu of Amarillo; her stepgrandchildren, Floyd Roberts of Mequon, Marie Pellerino of Waupaca, Dennis Roberts (Teresa) of Menomonee Falls, Gene Roberts (Deborah) of Waupaca, Debra Borst (Jerry) of Waupaca and Cindy Anderson-Haydu of Waupaca; and her daughter Janice Lipinski (Larry). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 16 step-great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 26 step-great great grandchildren.
