The passing of Lucille C. Milkowski of Wausau, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 103. Though Lucille may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lucille touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kania and Catherine Kania (Brodjeski); her husband Edward Milkowski; her son Richard; and her siblings, Ann, Dorothy and George.
She is survived by: her children, Caroline Schreiber (Knetter), Greg Milkowski (Kathy), Mary Lau (Scott), Dennis Milkowski (Diane) and Ron Kania (Marie). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (700 W Bridge St, Wausau, WI 54401). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
